There is not a time I can remember when photographs have not been an integral part of who I am. From a young age I can remember organizing my mom’s pictures and putting them into photo albums for her… for the fee of a penny a picture! I eventually graduated into creating my own scrapbooks of childhood memories. To me, photos are one of the most sacred items we are blessed with. What a joy it is to go back and relive moments in time through these special snapshots of our lives. Now my husband, two girls and pets have become the obsession of my photographic journey.

To me, capturing special moments in time is the essence of photography! The perfect picture is about the sweet smile, heartwarming giggle, tender kiss, look of pure amazement, a tender hand hold, a surprise embrace……….. it’s not about the posed portrait but capturing the inner spirit of each subject.

I have had the amazing opportunity, privilege and honor to professionally photograph in Raleigh since 2003. What a joy it has been to enter the lives of babies, families, high school seniors, brides and many others. Building a relationship with each client is such an important part of the entire process for me.
